The ending was one of the stupidest piles of shite I've ever seen.

Not as good as the sum of it's parts. I mean it's a movie with Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, Amy Adams, and Robert Patrick AND it's about Baseball, just looking at that I should love that movie...but I don't. It's boring and predictable. I suppose if you just want a feel good story maybe? But there are a lot of better options.

Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams. Sounds good. But it had a super crappy ending. Everything so neatly resolved. Like the last episode of Breaking Bad.

Somewhat insulting for the male/baseball fan audience (predictable, overly-sentimental).

It was shown on a flight I was on. It isn't bad but a little predictable.

The Slugger's Wife was better.
