I love how some of the Johnny helpfuls on here feel like they have to "figure it out" and offer solutions to the "problem" of Haley staying here.
Just move ________ to _______ and then have ________ go to ________ and problem solved. What a bunch of self important morons we have on this board.

if I remember, we had a west cost QB, the Rettig kid and he bailed out for lack of playing time, I don't care where they come from as long as the can play

Coach Raymond is also not a lock to be at LSU next season. There is a lot of speculation he is about to bolt by the end of next week.

As of last week, Chavis had told his assistants, including Brick Haley and Corey Raymond, to sign their offered contract extensions, and that he was planning on signing his as well"
Read between the lines on this article--Chavis told two assistants Haley AND Raymond to sign the extension. Raymond has been approached by other schools and is mulling over offers this isn't a secret so Les better do something quick.

When this happens, it is usually because Leslie has told him to cut a deal somewhere else or the axe is gonna fall. There is nothing that is as disgusting as disloyalty particluarly when LSU has been so very good to both Chavis and Haley.
I hear Les is pissed that Chavis and Brick were scheming behind his back while preparing for a bowl game.

I don't think that's a certainty. But you do have to be prepared for some short-term recruiting loss with any major coaching change on one side of the ball.
OTOH, because of the change, we might snag some recruits that we otherwise would not have gotten.

If he leaves, I wish him well. However, I wish he would do it far away from the recruiting fields of Louisiana. He is a beast mode recruiter. Don't want him coming in our back yards and taking our boys.
