Definitely the most exciting game I've ever seen in person. Saw it with my dad. We were standing on our seats in that 2nd OT and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other. The play that brought the house down was the dunk by the double knee-braced Floyd "The Dubberly Dude" Bailey.

Floyd was the Student Section "Bench" guy favorite that didn't play much and coach Brown knew the game was in hand when the SS started yelling "Floyd Floyd Floyd." Mr.Bailey would start smiling on the bench when the chant started and would be in the game soon.

All you kiddies have no clue how the "Assembly Center" atmosphere was back then. It was as electric as Tiger Stadium and that's no exaggeration.........
