I think it's going to come down to who can ride the dragons. Obviously Dany but the other two riders have yet to be determined.

Young griff?
Tyrion?
Daario?
Resurrected Jon Snow?

It is. Or did you miss out on a pretty big twist in the books?

I didn't which is why I was wondering why you were implying mance actually died. Figured we all knew from how they were panning the camera that mance is not dead

I think it'll be Snow and Tyrion. Snow didn't die, he just warged into Ghost. Red lady will figure it out and get it remedied, why else would she keep having visions of him?

There's no doubt they can't include everything from the books obviously. But could they not cut out ALOT of boring shite that they make up and replace it with awesome stuff and stay truer to the books? That's just an excuse the show uses. They skipped right through several story lines (like Brans) and for what? So we miss out on an awesome character like Coldhands? Or create a different story for Brienne for shits and giggles? What? Getting hung by a zombie Catelyn Stark is not good enough? It's ridiculous.

I'd be on board with you if they just didn't include things. But they are supplanting story lines and characters and making up their own story

As vengeful and fricked up as Oberyn was, he'd never support murdering an innocent girl just because of what her family did. Completely out of character for the Dornish, especially after what happened to Elia and her children.

She gets injured on accident though right? Couldn't that be what the Myrcella rage is about? I mean thats what happened in the books. I don't remember exactly, wasn't it The Darkstar? Gerold Dayne?

Wtf am I trying to remember here, help me out.

Brienne's story sucked in the books. Fell asleep many times while reading it.

Like I said, these guys have the fat man's blessing and they know how it all comes together. I highly doubt they're purposely making it shitty. They're just (IMO) focusing on the important plot points to the end story and leaving out those that probably don't come to fruition. I still think they bring Lady Stoneheart in

Maybe just maybe they are merging Trystane with Aegon? I would hate to find out that the Aegon storyline has been a waste of time to this point

Ok just read. He sliced off her ear. That may be what "the threat" is that Cersei is screaming about.

You're right. Hurt during the attempt to get on the boat and her knight is killed. She is badly injured. Oberyn was worried about how to overcome the issue. The threat of the snake is something out of nowhere this far.

Eta: her injuries weren't accidental. Sorry for the confusion.

Was I the only one who noticed that they changed the name of Sunspear to Sunstone? No one is going to notice this but the book readers, and all it will do is piss the readers off. Seriously, this is Last Airbender bullshite.

Sunspear could've been seen as code for penis?

No worse than what D&D will do with it. Brienne story was necessary though as we found out about what was going on around the realm, finding the Hound, getting caught by LSH, etc etc

I think they've mentioned Sunspear in prior seasons though

Here's my $0.02:

I figure that based on the complaining in here that I'm the only book reader at this point who loves the show. I'm not going to bitch about every change they make; they are 2 different mediums. I started watching the series as a Hodor, read the books 2 years ago, and still love them both overall.

Y'all also need to stop acting like the Fat Man's books are absolutely flawless when many parts of books 4 and 5 drag on for an eternity.

They called it Sunspear all last season and Loras' man whore even mentioned Sunspear in that scene too. Probably just adding a fictional castle in Dorne called Sunstone.

Look I'm not going to go Hodor on anyone for doing so but seriously, no spoilers about E2-E4.

I think its funny how some lose their shite when something is changed. I don't care about no Young Griff. Meh.

I'm still disappointed about no Lady Stoneheart though.
