Yes they do, and I don't feel like giving it to them. I've seen several documentaries on people "going through the change" and they invariably strike me as the looniest nut jobs.

Apprently, you are.

Um, no. You used them interchangeably. I did not.

You think that gender is a social construct.

I never said that. In fact, I said the opposite. I said it was biological.

But, it is a mental disorder and continuing to recognize that puts the behavior and identity confusion where it belongs.

I believe trans-genderism (gender dysmorphia) is still classified as a disorder. Where is this push to change that?

It also helps people recognize that not every feeling is something that should be acted on so that a person can be healthy. Not all desires are good for a person.

Certainly. But if it's biological, denying what you are probably isn't very healthy.

So please describe to us how you intend to exclude them in the real world. I want to hear what a peach you are going to be.

Meant the kids, not Bruce. See my later post about Bruce specifically.

I didn't say I was going to exclude them from the world, just my own decisions.

Why don't you tell me how we become stronger by celebrating this? How do tranny fashion shows on military bases make the military stronger, for example?

This is what I've been wondering.

Transgenderism is axiomatically atypical. I don't see how it's being "normalized."

quote:

It always includes elimination of any kind of opposition to the normality of what is being promoted

You're not any different from the people you despise. You're just working the opposite side of the angle. You'd want transgenderism to be isolated from society as it's not "normal."

When you use the word normality, it kind of degrades your factual arguement.

I'm amazed this has gone this far. Usually ban city over on bb.com

What a travesty, I guess its possible that he could be doing this as a publicity stunt.

This brings me back to the Kris Jenner is a demon theory. Her entire family has been prostituted for money and pub. This is just one more step towards more pub and money.

Why would my argument be banned?

Are you serious?

I have no idea what bb.com is and I'm not looking it up.

When I use the word "normality," I am talking about the cultural push that is just gearing up for the complete acceptance of Transgenderism as a legitimate sexual and gender expression. No, I do not subscribe to the idea that every single perspective that is introduced by certain groups in our country is valid. Sorry.

So which decisions are those? Like, if you are going to have a kid you are going to decide not to have one of these? Like, an abortion thing?

I'm not sure what "celebrating" means. I think it's probably healthy to treat humans with respect, even if they are different.

It provides an outlet for all the latent homo-eroticism there within?

Celebrating means that one tenth of one percent of the population gets WAY more press than it deserves. It's not about tolerance. They want to be celebrated and adored.

i don't accept the born that way narrative. The "stuck in a ______ body" line is a modern construct.

even if what they do negatively effects everyone how has Bruce Jenner becoming a woman negatively affected you?

This is the type of myopic thought patterns (and selfishness) that makes me lose faith in humanity. By accepting Bruce Jenners actions, we move the bar of what's appropriate and beneficial for all of us farther back. Think about it, one mass school shooting leads to another and now it doesn't even make us look up when another school shooting occurs and it's mentioned on the news. My point is, it may not affect you now, but someday your grandson my emulate Mr. Jenner and decide that he wants to change his gender too - even if you were to accept it, would you not be at least a ltitle bother by his decision?
