This shite fills me with hopelessness. It's not the violence and looting so much as the stupid rationale behind it. The line I've heard is "there's black people in prison for selling weed and white people in Colorado can sell weed all they want." As if the two things are somehow related.
Right, because it's legal there, dipshits. It remind me a lot of the Zimmerman line "Michael Vick got two years for killing a dog and Zimmerman dint get nuffin." Right, because Zim was found to be defending himself and because torturing animals did not quit being illegal, you idiots.
If this kind of stupid attempt at equivalence makes sense to these idiots, there is no hope. Things are never going to improve. They are just too fricking stupid to participate in civilization.

Does Freddie Grey appear to be the type of person that would act in a logical way?
I've seen with my own eyes a drunk slam his own face into a cage in a police car so hard in a matter of seconds over and over enough to need facial surgery.
There was a sane, sober guy in our jail on a misdemeanor arrest jump from the top bunk head first trying to kill himself.
People do shite sometimes that most would not think is logical.
But maybe that's not the narrative you're wanting in this situation.
