not having the sales figures from other breweries, how do we know it is an exception?
We do know there is such a demand for easy drinking hop forward beers like session IPAs that in the short time since early 2012 when All Day was introduced until now it accounts for half of Founders' production.

So do you think Oskar Blues has fueled its growth on Mama's Lil Yellow Pils or Dales?
You think Lagunitas is brewing more Pils than IPA?
How about Sierra Nevada? You think they made bank on Kellerwies?
The public in general eats and drinks stuff that is cheap and marketed well. Thus the success of Bud Light, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc. But times are changing for all of those companies as people start figuring out there are better options.
