I think you underestimate the interest in craft beer in Louisiana, and the desire of Louisiana folks to support local business.

I think you are right about the first point, wrong about the second. Though, interest in craft beer is certainly growing, it is still very much behind most states that Founders distributes to. Case in point, when KBS hits stores in Baton Rouge, it sells out in a day or two. When it hits stores here in Austin, it is gone within 30 minutes to an hour. And KBS is sold by the 4 pack in BR. It's sold in single bottles here in Austin.
