The nature trail behind Southfield.

Looking for the Rat Pack in the ditches.

Strawn's before that entire side room was there, before the Gauthier's bought it.

That vegetarian place next to Byrd. I'm not all that into it now, but had memories of good smoothies and a sandwich called the Special sandwich.

Getting in fights in the dirt pile off of right field at Captain's games when I was a kid.

Getting liquor and daquiris from Carl (think that was his name) who worked at the Cajun Daquiris on E. 70th.

Good times.

I know they are still (thankfully) there and in business, but...

-Lunch at Jacquelyn's Cafe on Louisiana Ave

-Desserts at Julie Anne's Bakery

-Eggnog daiquiris from Tony's

-Hot, fresh Southern Maid donuts (gotta be from the Fair Park/Willis Knighton North location)

Carl Ray lololol how could I ever forget the original big freeda at Cajun daquiris. How about Amigo at Chevron on e.70th before Jimmie Davis bridge. Had about 100 cars of teenagers waiting to go in to get beer. Dude must have made a killing. Can't believe he never got busted that I know of.
