Yeah and if divinities friend can be coached up by a good Linebackers coach why not take a chance, We've given scholarships to less, at least the kid has some skills he got offered by Arkansas, and with our linebackers numbers it really couldn't hurt. If it is another situation like the Kemdiche one at least divinity we know can come in and play right away and considering the depth of our LB there's really no negative thing about recruiting The kid. JJ Watt was a two star u never know, if he has a motor and has the want to try to be the best I think he's a take

Don't know if its been mentioned, but Ponamsky said on C&P this morning that he still fully expects Divinity to commit to LSU from everyone he talked to. Said the kid just wanted to have his "moment" at his ceremony on Jan. 5th to make his decision. He also said the fact that his only other school is A&M gives him even more confidence that we still land him.

I'm taking this as good news.

Excited for Divinity's announcement.

great, his other choice is aTm, maybe they offered him the QB position.

As badly as we need linebackers, maybe we should offer Harris.

It may not be a bad thing to sign a kid that will actually be in the program for 4-5 years. Early departures are a huge reason for our lack of depth now.
