Wikipedia tells me that this was filmed 2 years ago from Oct '14 - Dec '14.

Anyone know why it's getting its full release now, as opposed to last year or early this year?

His work in this movie made me get over not liking him. You totally forget all the weird things he has done over the years.

He deserved a best supporting actor nod for that movie.

Movie looks good. Not a Shia fan but this looks good. It amazes me how real the gunfire is. I can distinctly separate the m-4 fire.

i missed the plot of this movie. the trailer doesn't seem to give the plot any justice, but here it is...

quote:

In a post-apocalyptic America, former U.S. Marine Gabriel Drummer searches desperately for the whereabouts of his son, accompanied by his best friend and a survivor.

IMDB seems to give this a 2015 release. something must've pushed it back...

I'm thinking his best friend is a figment of his imagination and/or ghost which should be interesting. some of the pictures on IMDB lead me to believe that too...

Based on the directors previous films I have little hope for this as a whole

A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints is a fantastic movie

BUMP

Has anyone seen this in theaters yet? I just saw the trailer for the 1st time and it looks amazing.

Only has 9% on RT but a 86% audience score.

i'm a little disappoint. this movie came out on the 12th and it's not even playing anywhere near me. at least within a 100 miles.

I haven't seen in but from what I've heard, while the movie has great acting, the movie is weird, pretentious, and patronizing as it can.
