It immediately gets the ball in your rbs hands and lets him see the development of the defense. Which holes are actually being opened.
The toss dive was extremely effective for us.

I won't argue that, it's not a complete waste of a play, I just don't feel that the rb getting the ball immediately 7 yards deep is a bigger advantage for us then it is for the defense knowing he has it 0.2 seconds after the snap, I just feel it limits what we can do off it and also give the defense more time to fill gaps
