If you can't handle a 9-5, I don't know what to tell you. That's the definition of work/life balance.

You have plenty of it, just learn how to be efficient and best use it. I don't know what you're expecting out of life. It's not just going to all come to you the way you want it. Any job that gives you "purpose" will entail much more than a basic 9-5. Purpose is not "free time" and sitting on your arse your whole life.
