I agree with this 100%.
And I'm "old" and brought my entier family to the game (wife, son, and daughter). Of course my wife and children are not snowflakes that are so easily traumatised by language.
Proper parenting would take that as an example of when to discuss proper behavior with your children and the proper lines between adult and childhood speech.

I'm an adult, I have kids, I also know that a college football stadium on a Saturday night is a far cry from Church on Sunday.
Here's the reality. If you bring your kids to an LSU game on a Saturday Night, you are KNOWINGLY bringing them to a place where they will hear things that they wouldn't normally hear in their day to day lives.
This goes beyond STTDB. When the ref throws a BS flag, that guy next you or 2 rows up just might yell some obscenities and your options are to explain to you kid that the guy is an idiot and example of how not to act or you can leave. You're not special, others don't have to cater to you.

THe song is great and those lyrics were NOT part of it from the beginning. Play the song and make up different lyrics that are tough but not sttdb. It’s not that hard. It is offensive and immature. How about using your college brains to think up something creative and intimidating. Stop being so crass and lazy.

Oh please, I guess we're the only fanbase that throws profanities in their chants now? This isn't anything unique to LSU. Just about any major program with a big fanbase and student section does similar stuff.

Real fathers wouldn't put their child in that environment if it hurts their tender sensibilities so much. I have 3 daughters, and when they go it's for a day game against Chattanooga, etc.

There needs to be a similar but clean lyric that can be shouted by 1/3 of the stadium, thus giving cover to the rest and plausible deniability to the band.
