9-4, 6-6.

It's all the same shite to me: you didn't win anything.

If you don't see the difference between a 6-6 season and a 9-4 season then there is no hope for you

Moral Victory University.

1.1% chance to win the West? Winning the West should be a minimum standard.

Ed loves the lower expectations, so if he can manage to pull out a 7-5, he can crow about beating expectations!!

This is just paving the way for the propaganda machine to say it was a great season when LSU is 9-3 or 8-4 this year. They'll say "we were expected to go 6-6, but coach 0 elevated us to a better record". It doesn't matter what his record is this year, he'll be back in 2019 due to buy outs.

LSU has a new offense, a new starting quarterback, unproven running backs and an unusually challenging schedule even by SEC standards. The Tigers’ goal is to improve on last year’s 9-4 record and challenge Alabama, Auburn and perhaps Texas A&M in the SEC West. But with so many challenges, a move in the other direction is possible. In fact, ESPN’s Football Power Index computer foresees just that happening and predicts the Tigers will finish 6-6, which would put Ed Orgeron’s future as LSU head coach in doubt.

Who cares? Espn is never right.

Where can I place a bet they won’t be 6-6? 8 to 9 games is where we will be.

That's right and their opinions on LSU through the years have far more often than not been wrong.

Tell me about it.

They predicted us to beat Troy and MSU last year, boy were they wrong.

Should result in immediate firing of O and Alleva. Since apparently 2 early losses after a bunch of 9 and 10 win seasons 5 years removed from a perfect season was enough to can Les.

I do think the chance to win the west is way too low though - it's basically a 3-team race.

That's because in their infinite wisdom they were unaware of how much damage Les Miles left O. As they assumed wrongly that Miles left O with plenty of depth. They assumed very wrongly.

But O let a lot of that depth leave the program because, what is it that you said, they weren't going to play anyway?

“Those were guys that never would have played”

-Space Cowboy

Also O didn’t go after any JUCO in the 2017 class, and missed on our bigger DE target.

“ I would fricking riot“

The time for us to riot was when it became clear that Joe was seriously looking at Coach O. But we all set on our arse and allowed LSU to hire a guy who clearly didn’t process the resume to be hired as the head coach at a such as LSU has been for the last 16 years.

Now, it is what it is.

We didn’t have time!

I went To bed Thursday night with Herman as the next HC and woke up to O being hired.
