I thought it was pretty damn entertaining.
Also didn't see the SJW shite everyone keeps bitching about. Maybe because I wasn't looking for it.
That was exactly my take. Just further enforces that the opinion on films of a lot of of this board is just people who think too highly of their opinions but really don't know what they're talking about.

Him posting this thread does just that.
He instantly goes on the “muh SJW angry white men” narrative to reinforce his belief that this movie was good. Which is to say that if you didn’t like this, you are just an angry white man who hates women and minorities. None of the legit gripes that I mentioned were even debated upon, it’s just “well you just don’t know what you’re talking about.” Talk about thinking highly of ones opinion.

I find it hilarious that you are claiming a large group of people " don't know what they are talking about". That movie beat you over the head for 2.5 hours with empowering women and giving minorities meaningless sublpots, and you didn't pick up on it.
Nothing wrong with empowering women, but that's not what I go to see Star Wars for.
As for creating token minority roles, it's transparent. If I were black I would honestly feel insulted that Disney thought I was going to be proud of this lame Finn charachter.
