Probably going to play a round or two in Sandestin next week. I've never been, so where should I go?

Played Regatta Bay a few weeks ago and it was in good shape but I prefer Kelly Plantation. The Raven is always pretty fun, but if you’re a baller try and get on camp creek or Sharks Tooth about 40 mins away.

Regatta Bay, Raven, Burnt Pine (private) are all real close, someone played the Links today and said it was nice.

You payed the links in April. It was nice then. Also tends to be more affordable

All of the Sanderson Hilton courses are nice. Raven is their top Reid public course, but Links gives you some Bay views and Baytowne has a really cool 17th where you can see the beach. Golf Now runs specials on BT and Links.
Regatta
Kelley Plantation
Emarald Bay
Indian Bayou
You really don’t go wrong with any of these 4.
Across the bay for super cheap is Bluewater Bay. It’s an old neighborhood course. You will pay the toll both ways. It’s not extremely nice, but has that old country club feel.
Check golf now. If you don’t mind the heat, there are some amazing deals especially if you are a single and don’t mind getting paired up.

For the money it is tough to beat the links. I’ve played regatta and Kelly a bunch and prefer regatta personally but you’re splitting hairs (I’ve probably just played better at RB). I think the raven is a little overrated and I’ve never played burnt pine

and I seem to play better at KP. Maybe it’s bc Couples plays a fade and left some fade misses open for me.

Play the Raven, fun course. And try Windswept Dunes in Freeport. Awesome course, and pretty reasonable.

Burnt Pine (if you can get on), is the finest course I’ve played there.
Regatta is good
Kelly is good

Played Kelly a bunch good track nothing amazing for $140.
Regatta has water on 15 holes it can be a itch when the wind is up.
Burnt pines is my personal fav.
Tree lined course very quite and really difficult. Always eats my lunch.
The Raven is the old Sandestin course renamed def 4th for me

If you're trying to stay in Sandestin to play here is my recommendation:
Play The Links at least for the views
I played it last week and it was in good condition. It's also a little cheaper than Raven and Burnt Pine
I also played Baytowne and Raven last week
Raven is incredible condition. It's a difficult course but it's fun.
Baytowne was also in nice condition but a couple of the holes (2 of the 3 holes on the beach side of the course) were playing as par 3's instead of their normal par 4 and par 5 because they're having some grounds keeping issues. That was disappointing because thats probably my favorite 3 hole stretch of that course.
I've actually never played Burnt Pine but hear its nice
I've played the Links a handful of times and last week was probably the best condition I've ever seen it.
If you can only play one round, I'd recommend the Links
If you can play two, I'd go Links and Raven
