I did. I purchased a black Golden doodle from them several years ago.
He's super intelligent. I house trained him in about a day. He figured it out really quickly. We did do some obedience training early on just so he could learn some commands and he did really well.
Other than that, he's a 110 pound teddy bear. He really just wants to be near his people and be loved on. He just a really super sweet companion that loves everyone.
His only "flaw" is that he likes to shred paper and will do it if he gets a chance. He knows he's not supposed to do it but does it anyway. I don't really scold him because he's such a great dog.

I got my Goldendoodle from them. She’s 10 years old, no health problems, very good with kids and very calm. I would recommend them but they aren’t cheap. Only one problem, she thinks she’s a lap dog. Will not leave my side. Hahaha. I was very impressed with their facilities as well. Hope this helps.

Big Lake Goldens in Farmerville.
They breed “field goldens”. I thought that was bullshite, a golden is a golden is a golden. They can lay around just as easy as play.
Well the girl I got from them is definitely not like my previous Golden. She is on fire a lot of the time. Very energetic, very sweet, very smart and very healthy through six months. Nice guy running it. Pretty much all their dogs are really dark colored coats.

Nobody is... until you are. They're funny and crazy smart. Zero to minimal shedding.

We purchased our Golden from HF. She lived to the age of seven and passed away due to Cancer. She also had a chronic skin condition that the Vet said was hereditary.

Doubt we'll find out unless someone knows the OP off-site. He hasn't posted in 3 years. Disappeared after pimping penny stocks on the money board.

If you like inbred three eyed puppies, go with the breeder every time.

I have two rescue Goldens and decided to add a puppy a couple of years ago after the death of my foster failure. My vet advised me to stay away from Louisiana-bred Goldens because of the high incidence of cancer and heart disease he sees from Louisiana dogs. He thinks a shallow gene pool may be a factor.
I purchased a mahogany Golden from East Texas Golden Retrievers outside of Lufkin. I believe their rate is $1,400 (pet only). Beautiful animal, very affectionate, and sometimes too damn smart for his own good. He is quite territorial in the fact that unless it’s canine or human, he will kill anything that enters the back yard.

Best dogs I've ever had were muts though I sometimes get a pedigree. I have an Australian shepherd now and he's a good dog but has allergies. Every pedigree I've owned has had some issue.
But the muts are usually hardier and learn faster.
I have a mixed terrier thing and he's the first little dog I've liked. He's just got a cool personality. I bike ride with the shepherd and put the terrier in a dog basket on my handlebars and he wears his little sunglasses and loves it. The shepherd likes to pace at 18mph. He's a fast dog.
