I watched a good friend drink himself to an early grave.It ended with vodka.

I've never seen someone suffer like he did.

Simply ask the God of your Understanding to give you the Power to make the Decision to not drink Today each morning and then thank Him at the end of the day.

Repeat daily.

It will add up and only get better, not worse.

Whit, I don't know you but we suffer from the same disease. Since you've been there before, you know what you gotta do brother ... Live one day at a time and DON'T drink today. I've been living the Serenity Prayer daily since 12-27-87 when I admitted I was powerless of drugs, alcohol, gambling, women, or anything else I used to get that high. Life is great, and I won't use today since I never want to go back to my past.
