can we please stop with the stupid "light em up" iPhone schtick? holy shite, that is cringeworthy and terrible.
also, hate to say it, but Dan Borne doesn't fit the mold of a typical basketball announcer. personally, I'd prefer Bill Franques.

Amen. Craptastic tricks like these work for a teeny-bopper concert. Their lame gimmicks at a college sporting events. The kids like it, that's about it. When were kids the stadium could seem at times like a fearful place of serious competition, though, not Chuck E Cheese.
