This was an interstellar object spotted recently that had characteristics never seen before and some of it’s behavior has yet to be explained

Scientific America

Couple of strange facts about Oumuamua

1. It was basically just siting in interstellar space and our galaxy passed through it. This has never been observed before.

quote:

Oumuamua is like a buoy sitting at rest on the surface of the ocean, with the solar system running into it like a fast ship

2. Most objects in space are round due to effects of gravity. Not Oumuamua

quote:

Oumuamua has an extreme elongated shape with its length at least five to 10 times larger than its projected width.

3. We don’t know what it’s made of, but it’s very shiny

quote:

Oumuamua must be unusually shiny, with a reflectance that is at least 10 times higher than exhibited by solar system asteroids

4. When it passed close to our sun it changed trajectory in a manner that is not consistent with any natural process we know of

quote:

The trajectory of ‘Oumuamua deviated from that expected based on the sun’s gravity alone. The deviation is small (a tenth of a percent) but highly statistically significant

5. This movement may be consistent with an artificial solar sail. A interstellar “message in a bottle” maybe?

quote:

Oumuamua needs to be less than a millimeter thick but with a size of at least 20 meters (for a perfect reflector), resembling a lightsail of artificial origin.

So what says the OT?
Normal space rock, artificial solar sail, or alien terd?

Why didn't we set up a big trawl net and scoop it up when we passed by it. Looks like it's a valuable substance we could have mined.

space is bullshite. If there's all those supposed rocks out there why aren't they falling down and hitting us?

It's an object from another dimension that does not follow the same fundamental laws of our 3D world.

Why do we want to discuss the Alabama quarterback on the O-T?

That’s just a big frozen space turd that got dropped out of an intergalactic airliner (they look like DC-8s)

Those are some big logical leaps being made there.

I think it's an interstellar survey beacon
