Because Dardenne has shown himself to be more honorable than JBE? I total disagree with JBE's politics, but you know where he stands. If you're gonna talk about swamp rats, then Dardenne is the leader of the pack. Hell, he's a large part of why JBE was even elected.

Dardenne works for JBE right now as his Commissioner of Administration.
Dardenne is just as swampy as JBE.
