I miss the place...

I needed to get some banana clips and went by Best Buy but it was so dang expensive I’m ordering them on amazon.

I don’t even know where to go anymore for basic electrical components.

I’m not too keen ordering off of amazon or other websites. Sometimes I know what I need only when I see it.

I needed 6ft of Type E thermocouple wire the other day. All I could find locally was 100ft spools. No doubt Radio Shack would've had it laying on the floor somewhere

Do you have Fry's around? its like you combine a radio shack with Best Buy and Micro Center, then sprinkle a little Barnes & Noble

I think it would be neat if there was a Radio Shack type of place that also had a makerspace where you could go and use the workbenches and tools and stuff, and there were somewhat knowledgeable people to help you with things.

Are there any places like that around BR?

Radio Shack had nothing on William B Allen on Rampart st. That place was like a nerd's dream come true.
