And rat shack had those walls of trays of odd components that only work in certain situations. Need some of these...3 of those...cpl of these.

I usually go to Fry's, and honestly I hate it. Radio shacks were small and practical. You were in and out in a matter of minutes. With Fry's you have to deal get on the freeway, deal with parking, walk all the way to the end of the store, and wait at long check out lines, and then commute back on traffic. If you needed a fuse or a bulb, Radio Shack was the place to go. Amazon is great, but only if you don't need the part now.
