Totally with you on this. For all those people who say every other uni sucks but Nike's, cover the swoosh. I mean, if it's Nike's right to say, do whatever they want in a free country, it should be LSU's right to bury the Nike logo as well. Still don't like lining Nike's pockets though, but at least there's no free advertisement involved.

I stand for plenty.
Like my philosophy that I keep misgivings separate from the product an entity creates.
Darren sharper is a piece of shite human. I think it’s silly to keep him off the HOF ballot. Bill Cosby is a rapist. He is also an amazing stand up with a show that is a positive for the world. Nike is a largely left leaning company. They still make dope gear.

Smh. Some of you really need to take a hard look at your values. I mean seriously. Is this what we have become, that we care more about winning college football games than having pride in our Nation.
I value God, family, country, and Tiger Football in that order; however, I think we should keep politics out of college athletics.

They claim to be anyway. Their PR efforts definitely try to portray that they’re liberal and regressive.
That said, notice that Nike doesn’t pay $0.01 more in taxes than they are required to by law. Their products are made mostly in China and other third-world Asian countries where they can exploit people for cheap labor.
They’re not really liberal or even political. It’s all a stunt to get them free publicity because the media is genuinely liberal and eats that shite up.

Please send all unwanted Nike gear to me. Preferably large shirt/shorts and size 12 shoes. Will also accept any Nike golf equipment.
Same for me, size 11 shoe size Large shirt. I’ll be happy to take it off your hands if Nike and Kap hurt any of your snowflake feelings that badly.

Wow. This retarded shite made it to 10 pages already? I'll be damned.

Honest question. Why would the American flag offend these blacks that you speak of? I have a lot of black friends that have weighed in on the matter and they feel ashamed of this disrespect. Again, should not be political. This country is the greatest in the world. It gives these young blacks as you say the opportunity to become rich. This is just absurd, and yes it is being turned political by liberals...when it shouldn't be at all. It's all about dividing the country, sadly. It should be about pride, loyalty, respect, and values.
Honest question. Why, if the flag is so sacred, does it belong on a shoe who’s very purpose is to touch the ground and get dirty?
Seems to me that if you really respected the flag, you would want it as far away from the ground as possible.

Well you just got ripped off. And this has nothing to do with their political stance. They sell overpriced crap.

I would like that to. But the horse's already out of the barn.
When . . .
O photo-ops with the governor.
When sponsors make decided political stands.
And it is "college" athletics. Unless we can keep politics out of college, then it's hard to draw a line at athletics.

Are you under the impression that Nike products are made in the USA?
Bless your heart.

Holy shite dude. This is the greatest country in the world. It pays your welfare. It provides these recruits the opportunity to earn millions of dollars. The flag is the backbone of this great country. I tell you this, assuming you don't have felonies, you have the opportunity to carry your liberal arse to any other country in the world. In fact, it is encouraged. Thankfully, the majority of Americans don't feel the way you do. Believe it or not, there are a lot of blacks that do not support your views either.
You really are a one note idiot. You remind me a lot of another poster on this board who also posts in similar fashion. Perhaps you know him? I bet you do.

Obsession with symbols is something I’ve never gotten on board with. Probably the result of growing up after the Cold War. I love the USA and everything it stands for or purports to stand for. Democracy, individual liberties, self determination and the other rights guaranteed by our constitution. I fly a flag outside my house every day. But I can’t get behind this feverish, borderline psychotic defense of a symbol. It’s silliness and a perfectly useful and easy card for politicians on both sides of the aisle to play.
Anyway, Happy Independence Day, gents

I agree with you. Unlikely, but Champion and Russell are both all American and they remind me of playing football when I was 10.

It’s funny how all you conservative anti freedom snowflakes support capitalism until it doesn’t fit your narrative
