I would be floored if requiring an ID would have a disproportionate effect on blacks. I have never heard an actual black person complain about this. I have heard white liberals say that this is so, but I have never seen any basis for it.

Elitist white progressives do think that that little of minorities but the underlying reason is that they know illegal immigrants can't vote with voter ID laws

I was in church a while back and an old black woman came into the church in the middle of the service. I was irritated that she would think it was OK to come into church that late.
On the way home I saw her again. She was walking home from church. She lived about a mile and a half from church.
How many of you walk a mile and a half to church?
