I feel like the people who are worried enough to protest POTUS are not the same people who are worried about catching an epic football game. I mean I'm sure there's some overlap but I'd guess most of them don't give a shite about the game.

regardless of whether you love or hate a particular politician, why in the hell would anyone let that affect an entertainment event?

Hell, in any assemblage of 100,000 people, there are numerous rapists, spouse abusers, child abusers, drug addicts, alcoholics, thieves, etc. scattered throughout the crowd.

Just enjoy the damn game. Leave politics and social justice protests out of it.

I’m not sure if you have read this board since the announcement or not.

A shocking amount of melting snowflakes on here.

This sounds like a message from Roy Moore.
If you boo Trump, you will be removed from the game.
Trump is desperately searching for an athletic event he can go to and NOT be booed. He thinks Bama is that place.
If he doesn't want negative reactions, go bowling or something.

What a bullshite clickbait headline. The letter doesn't say anything about protesting Trump.

They need to turn the fire hoses on these people like they did back in the Fifties. Then cut them down with rubber bullets

Know how I know you didn't read the article?

Nowhere in there or the actual letter does it say anyone will be removed from the game or have tickets taken away. This is clearly aimed only at the students, of which certain groups such as frats and chess clubs have reserved seating (it's a way to keep the nerds corralled together), and if any of those groups are disruptive they will simply have their assigned seats replaced with general student admission.

I just sent the POTUS a note through the White House web site asking him not to attend the game this Saturday. That I do not want his appearance to disturb any aspect of the game.

I also said that if I thought it would negatively affect the Gumps in any way, I'd be OK with it.

Good for the gumps, I want LSU football because there are no politics. I do not want to see that crap. It is just a bunch of meaningless gutter snipes on each side of the political isle relying on the ignorance of the masses to implement their self-serving agenda.

It addresses "disruptive" behavior, which his protestors are famous for. They need just enjoy game or stay home if they can't be civil and respectful of others.

Student sections are famous for their civility and respectfulness even when it has nothing to do with politics.
