Texas is a big arse conservative state with a huge population and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that A&M is really an underground homoerotic safe space for what I imagine is a pretty sizable gay population in the state of Texas. 28.7M. That's roughly 1.3 million gay people. They have to go to school somewhere and that's a large enough population to make a push to take over a university and make it their own.
