This, when he won the SB with NY and did his Jay Fund thing in Jax a couple months later he had a well earned shite eating grin on the whole night.

He still does the Jay Fund and he makes himself available for other charities.

The Gene "Draft from Colorado School of mining" Smith era left a huge deficit ...but the jags should be further along than they are now..no excuses. Granted there was an AFC Championship game but when your defense scores that much and the offense doesn't (or did because of field position and turnovers by the def)...it can not be your business model. The offense right now seems to be throwing spaghetti against the wall, but nothing is sticking (other than a little marketing quirk provided by Minshew)

So for all that on the field...yeah he is to blame along with the coaching staff and...every one else getting a paycheck. But I do like having Coughlin in Jackdonville

Gene Smith. If it weren’t for him, we’d never have this:

Yeah because nothing screams “tough guy” like silently letting some a-hole take money out of your pocket while doing nothing about it.

Coughlin's leadership style is a thing of the past, unfortunately or not. ESPN needs to hire him to replace Polian as their "Get off my lawn!" guy.

he never should have even gotten a phone call after the giants finally cut that turd loose

his record speaks for itself, he isnt a good coach and never showed anything to suggest he wouldnt be equally bad as a GM

Khan really is deserving of being mentioned alongside Snyder as worst owner. I really enjoyed his comment about needing to play in London every year because the fans won’t support 8 home games despite pretty decent attendance numbers through a HORRIFIC decade of football.

His goal is to get this team to London, I don’t think he’s really all that interested in building a winning franchise. Wouldn’t be surprised if he names his son as Coughlins replacement.

Coughlin has a great coaching track record. He built BC into a good program, got the Jags to two AFCCGs, and won two Super Bowls with NYG.

He's a disciplinarian and players today think they're above that. They're rather have a player friendly coach like Doug Marrone so they can treat him like a doormat while playing dogshit football.

I mean he was blatantly violating the CBA so the players are quite literally above that

Seriously. How would anybody feel about their boss docking them pay for somrthing that's in direct violation of their contract.

More like the guards are criminals too, and even worse than some of the inmates.

Coughlin also deconstructed the Jags. Most decision makers would be on the hot seat if they had such a precipitous dropoff from the AFCCG in such a short time.
