So tired of the damn heat. I had it in Louisiana for 25 years and I can do without it for the rest of my time.

This.

Ive spent most of my life in South Louisiana and Texas, and i’m sick and effing tired of being hot, and sweating my damn balls off all the time... it just makes most activities absolutely miserable for 7 or 8 months out of the year.. but instead of just bitching about it, i’m planning o make a move in the very near future, to somewhere more temperate like one of the Carolinas, or maybe Tennessee or Virginia.. people i know who live in those areas talk about humidity in the summer, but they have no idea.. and i can take some coldish winters as a trade off.

If just being outside in summer causes you to sweat that profusely you should see a doctor.

I'd rather live somewhere cooler too. I only find Louisiana's climate miserable from May through September though. The other 7 months it isn't that bad.

If the saints end up having to come to Lambeau this playoff season, that would be a great way to experience the cold in one of the most fun atmospheres in the NFL. I can guarantee you wouldn't regret that trip. You can crash at my mom's house. It's walking distance.

I agree. Kids are out in the yard playing. Guys on the course yesterday in shorts. This is probably the thing I miss most about Louisiana this time of year. All my Christmas pictures wearing shorts!

Virginia has great weather. It has all four seasons but nothing too extreme.

Unfortunately the state is now controlled by whack job DC leftists. I'd move to Tennessee or the Carolinas over there for this reason alone.

Yeah probably so. I think the leftists are congregated mostly in the northern part near DC, which is also a bad sign for the country going forward. The area is just teeming with the filth. shite, my cousin is one of them. Total leftist from her three story mansion.

do you smell gun powder in the air just like Nola too?

I had a friend that lived in an apartment complex off Haywood Lane. We used to sit out on his balcony late at night, drink beer and listen to the gunfire coming from Richards Rd. Sirens and 9mm's, crazy shite.
