I don't know why anyone wouldn't say Brady. He's the variable from the '18 offense to the '19 offense.

A bigger variable than Brady was Joe Burrow getting a full offseason with the WR’s and the new playbook. His lower results & stats in 2018 were a direct result of not having this 2 years ago, and we all saw when we switched to an offense Joe had rain since the 8th grade.

Happy for Joe Brady and Burrow, but LSU will survive. If you look at who held most of the offensive records prior to 2019 Coach E immediately raised the bar when he took over for Cam Cameron & Les Miles, but that change was long overdue.

LSU still needs to hire a great DC and. Coach for QB and receivers. The BR paper had a big write up on LSU and Aranda’s hires but made no mention of Coach O’s possible hires, now that’s crazy! Coach O wins the media.

I’m gonna be pissed if Aranda fills his staff with good quality coaches and we end up with washed up, older, NFL has-been coaches that nobody else will hire. WTF is taking so long? You can’t tell me that this won’t hurt recruiting.

Ensminger is the QB coach.

My thought exactly. I just let someone else say it.

The head coach just completed the best season ever. I think he can just say "trust me" for a couple of recruits.

Among the LSU fan base, having complete trust in Coach O is not a problem, what we don’t have is the patience. Many of us including myself need to know now who we are hiring. Here me Ed?

It’s not recruiting LSU fans are worried about, its impatience with the coaching selection.

All of you panic mongers are patently pathetic
And wrong about having to rush to make hires and that it is hurting recruiting. We only have 4 spots and we will probably sign Bradford, Adams , Crawford and either Burch or Jackson. I look for a surprise on offense, and a fabulous DC such as Pelini or comparable coach.

How dare they hire at their own pace and not speed up the process to appease internet posters.

Yeah I don't get why some are in such a rush here. I think it's pretty obvious that there's a plan in place. I don't think these analysts that seem like good fits would just be leaving if we were putting up a fight to keep them.

Most fans are not worried about it hurting recruiting, but most are worried it will hurt LSU's preparation for 2020.

I'd love to see O go after Joe Woods at SF. Talk about DBU

A lot of latitude being giving to Coach O by BR sportswriters in delaying these hires, no mention in Sunday’s paper who LSU is closing in on or a timetable.

I would say we will find out tomorrow or sometime this week, If not then I would say before or after national signing day. I honestly believe it’s Bo Pelini and that he’s already accepted the job but won’t mention it yet because he wants to make sure his brother Carl is taken care of at Youngstown. That’s just my guess. Also know a couple sources that said Bo Pelini is the guy, And they have been on point with everything, Dennis (Meatball) Johnson going to
Baylor, Larry Fedora hired at Baylor, and etc. Yes at first it was Kris Richard but the issue with Kris Richard is he doesn’t want to recruit and that is a problem for O.

You start following LSU in 2017??

Ensminger fielded a record setting offense of his own in 2016 with a much lesser talent at QB. Stop being an echo chamber.
