They got him for pennies his first years.

Damn right he should ask for the world this second contract.

He should most definitely demand the most he can. The Titans should then thank him for everything and say good luck to you and your next team.

RBs are as important as 3rd string linemen and should be paid the same as them

For many teams certainly, but not Henry and the titans. Henry has been a different back, he’s most likely not just replaceable. Now, him being gone will be easier to replace with the $20 mil a year that he is trying to get. But you can’t just act like Henry is to the Titans what patriot RBs have been to the Pats.

Henry has completed his four-year, $5,407,928 contract signed after joining the Titans as a second-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft

Compare this with the $27,150,842 contract that Leonard Fournette received as the 4th overall pick in the same draft and the Titans made out like a bandit.

In order to keep Tannehill, the Titans will have to pay more like $30 million/year. He picked just about the best possible year to have a comeback season.

Eli is retiring. Brees/Brady/Roethlisberger/Rivers have one or two years left in the tank at best. Flacco/Ryan/Rodgers are all at least 35 years old, and Cam Newton might also be done soon due to all the injuries.

Amazing to me that people get visibly angry when talking about paying Henry but are cool with Tannehill getting 20-30+ million.

Lol, I hope they let Henry go and sign Tannehill for 30. They won't make the playoffs.

He needs a 4 year 100 million deal with it all guaranteed. Scott Woodward needs to negotiate the contract for him, he’s a master.
