Lol, Kansas is only an option because I want to live as close to Colorado without actually living in Colorado. Missouri, only cause they have google fiber.

Youre in Pcola too, right? How’d you make out with Sally?
Yeah, I got really lucky. There was a tree that started to fall towards my apt but stopped and only leaned towards it and they came and cut it down. Literally outside my complex trees down everywhere. I was without power for 4-5 days, and still don’t have internet. Using an iPad with WiFi hotspot. How about you?

Move to Wyoming then, Laramie is growing and adding entertainment, eateries, shopping, etc. College town and puts you in a good location for Colorado. NO KANSAS

No trees down in our yard, in fact not even any significant limbs, but we lost shingles down to the decking on our garage roof (which is old and needs replacing anyway) and a few off the house (replaced after Ivan in ‘04). Oh, and our basement got 10 inches of water in it, which serves us right for buying a house with a basement in FL.
It was my folks place in AL that we’re trying to clean out to sell that’s been the real PITA. Not much damage to the house itself, but trees down or fatally damaged all over the 2 acre lot, requiring removal to the tune of $25k. Headed that way this morning to check on my sister’s progress towards getting the rest of her shite out so we can have an estate sale.
Word of advice to all of you, especially those of you in the prime of life: get rid of as many of your material possessions as you possibly can NOW, while you’re still young enough to enjoy life. Or better still, don’t acquire them in the first place. But if you do, for God’s sake, don’t die and leave them to your family to deal with.
