Tom Brady isn't the GOAT. He played for the GOAT dynasty and GOAT head coach. Peyton turned two franchises completely around and won a championship with both. With better defenses or coaching like the year they sat Peyton for 4 games during an unbeaten year, he'd have several rings as well.

I’ve hesitated to go there but always felt this was the fairest comparison. Extremely similar strengths and weaknesses BUT Peyton wasn’t a 1 year wonder so that has to be mentioned.

Joe Burrow reminds me of Russell Wilson. Good decision makers with great pocket awareness and accuracy. Both have the ability to run but only do it during key spots in the game.

Wilson is faster, smaller and has a better arm.

Burrow has better vision.

to none other than the NFL’s GOAT, Tom Brady.

That’s a joke. If he used arguably, then MAYBE. I could make an argument that only 1 of the SBs should even count between the taping and deflated balls. He isn’t the Goat. Montana, Unitas, Brady, P Manning, Brees, Favre, Bradshaw all can make an argument. The first 3 would be mines though.

Yes that all good but P Manning could not run like Joe B at any point of his career

I a,ways thought he performed like P Manning the way he read the field and the way he moved and found the open receiver. Joe runs with the ball better than Manning.

In a championship game I'll take Burreaux or Montana. Jeaux in Georgia Sphincterdome last season had 11 TD passes to 0 turnovers, and in Natty 5 to 0 (176.3 passer rating in Natty). Montana 4-0 SB's with 11 TD passes and 0 turnovers and highest career SB passer rating ever (127.8). In 14 seasons at SF Montana never fumbled ONCE (per NFL Stats), which is insane.

Burrow has what Peyton never got -the college national championship and I believe the Heisman

Peyton got screwed out of the Heisman. Some DB got it. That’s when the Heismann became worthless...until Joe, the man, won it

Huh but he didn’t fold on the biggest stages?

He honestly looks more like Tom Brady to me.

The comparison people keep forgetting is Montana. He's a bigger, stronger, better running Montana with a little better deep ball.

Quick release. Great vision. Rapid processing speed. Few turnovers. High floor, high ceiling type guy.

That's Joe Montana. His senior year was as if Don Coryell coached Joe Montana in an Air Raid offense.

JB's talent is his accuracy and his completion percentage.

I think JB’s accuracy is just OK for an NFL QB. His talent is his instantaneous decision making, his preparation, and his athleticism. The first two are why anyone might compare him to Manning.
