I don’t think the captain will ever command another carrier either.

He will just quietly never be heard from again along with this Modly fellow.

If he remains on active duty, he will probably end up with a desk job in the Pentagon. If he's lucky.

At the time of writing his letter to anyone other than his immediate boss, this had to be quite clear to him.

The man had earned a command at sea. Of a carrier. That's total responsibility for a lot of people and some expensive equipment to put it mildly.

He blew the whistle because of his superiors leaving his people in harm's way unnecessarily, in his judgment- the judgment that had been endorsed by giving him command of this ship. And it got results. He knew what the price of something that'd make his superiors look bad when he did it, and he did it anyway.

You can see why his crew would love him for that, and these idiots in here calling it a discipline problem are out of their minds.

Trump should give Captain Crozier the new hospital ship command he will build

Then Crozier will always have a hospital nearby.
