Enlisted singing high praise to a fired Captain, on his walk of shame, is totally out of line. That falls at the feet of the Command Master Chief. It is also indicative of larger problems regarding boat discipline.

I agree with this, but it is hard to reestablish discipline among the troops, following behind a lax commanding officer. There are going to be a lot of problems going forward.
When I was listening to the recording of it, and heard that sailor say "what the frick!" out loud, while the Sec. Of The Navy was speaking, that said it all to me.

It seems to me everyone’s forgotten the ship was and is infected with the CV19 and there was nothing be done about it. What would you have done about it?
