Modley’s speech was so bad. I found it opportunist, intoxicated, and cringe. Go Navy! At the end just cap off a very bad message. Yikes.

Why fly 8000 miles to deliver a tirade, when he had already dismissed the Captain? Modly could have done it over a Comms link from DC. I guess he needed to be there for dramatic effect. Just a lot of stupid here, any way you look at it.

Well sounds like he was just making sure the island wouldn’t tump over if they unloaded all the sailors on it
