If Bregman doesnt want to be represented by an agency who he feels like is hostile to his past cheating then by all means he is entitled to switch agents. However, as the article pointed out Bregman is probably going to have a hard time finding an agent who is sympathetic to what the Astros did and LeBron hasnt been found to have an ownership stake in Klutch Sports anyway. So OP's title of Bregman "sticking it to LeBron" seems a little misguided. Bregman should be sticking it to himself and his teammates for getting themselves in this situation.

I'm sure the 5-10% of that $100mm contract will help his future agent get thru it and lend a sympathetic ear.

Come on. Sports agents are shadier than used car salesmen, traveling roofers, and even cheating ballplayers. They’d represent Jeffrey Dahmer if there was a buck to be made.
