You are correct. This situation is sad. Sad that Liberal Politicians refuse to do anything but appease people rather than cracking down when it is needed. It is sad that rather than holding their elected Local officials responsible they would resort to violence. Sad that the President of the United States had to step into the leadership void and do what others would not do because they lack moral courage.

Damned media calls it a photo opt. You know one of those things invented by dems especially Bill Clinton and Obama. I say like you, " an in your face" moment. They criticized him for cowering in a bunker which is a move by secrete service to protect all presidents. These liberal networks are destroying this country along with the recently discovered "Swamp".

Of course it was a photo op. It was designed to show that Trump is in charge.
A picture or video is worth more than a thousand words these days. Trump's statement was powerful and decisive. His walk across the street with the AG, Sec. of Defense, and Chief of Staff was a statement.
Trump holding the Bible was a major dog whistle for middle America. In these trying times, Trump is holding tight to his faith. Very powerful. The media knows it too.
