Wonder if the site prep and clean-up SLI did several weeks ago was for Lanxess or possibly Koch investors?

I thought it was Lanxess that did that to their whole facility for German brass visiting?

No clue. I’m sure it’ll come out eventually but I’m sure Lanxess would want to publicize they shite the bed unless there’s more to it than we know.

The longer I think about this and the more we look into it, I’m starting to think it’s wayyy bigger than we can imagine.

Last week it made up 80% of my play money account. On Friday I said I was an idiot for ever letting that happen. Today I feel like an idiot for what I said on Friday

I have that feeling once again. SLI is now partnered with a REAL power player and it's in Lanxess' best interest to play nice considering the potential revenue that they are sitting on plus the 7-8% ownership of SLI they have. They had SLI over a barrel being the largest single holder. That is no longer the case. Wouldn't be shocked to see Koch play hardball and acquire the El Dorado facility. The SLI Southwest AR project could pull it's choice of employees from Lanxess. Lanxess themselves warned investors of decreasing profits in the next year. If I were Koch, I'd twist their balls. Not that it would happen, but Koch seems like the type that could work out a mutually beneficial agreement with Albermarle. Another local facility that will be supplying many of the reagents needed could also be ripe for the picking. That would be an additional revenue source and lessen the lithium extraction costs as they'd be cutting out the middle man.

And once again, Koch's immense fortune and political influence is huge. I think SLI may have just jumped to the front of the line for some of that gov't domestic lithium cash.

No one has pegged it correctly IMO. Market cap is lower than it was 3 wks ago and consider what's transpired since:

*Tech - strong case for validation. $100M doesn't move on "ifs"
*Financial backing - if we're being honest, essentially limitless
*Negotiating leverage - 2019 vs now ..... = $$$
*Political Influence - Importance here cannot be overstated
*Commercialization - tons of new doors via Koch's enterprises
*Speed to Market - first to market is huge advantage. Possible now.
*SLI owned/leased properties - back burner to front burner. More margin sooner.
*Lithium demand - to da moooon
*Infrastructure Bill - Billions for Electric (political influence entered the chat)
*Radar - still way under. See volume, inst. ownership, media coverage etc.
*Investor Confidence - Up huge. Downside greatly reduced. Short Story crushed.
*FOMO - kicking into high gear. Talk of thanksgiving dinners for all involved.

TLDR: With the right multiple & revenue runways communicated effectively a $15B market cap isn't unrealistic quicker than you think. Justification: tech companies, hype and rapidly growing markets justify higher multiples - see TSLA, AMZN etc.

Happy Thanksgiving Baws. I'll repost this in 2 years and laugh at my understated price target.

Great post. These are the exact reasons for my feelings on the Koch partnership being bigger than I initially thought. You just do a way better job at putting thoughts to paper. Let’s go baws!

Any predictions for a price target:

End of year 2021?

in 6 months?

End of year 2022?

I’m not one to do price predictions. But if you look at what Collie said about a market cap around $15B, that’s right at $100 a share with the current float. The political clout that comes with the Koch brothers is such a dark horse here, from Federal money to Tesla and who knows what else. This is exciting.

Interesting. I asked back in July-ish if this was a $100 stock and was soundly dismissed by someone on here.

I truly believe in the technology. AFAIK they are still the only green lithium extractor in the game. With today's emphasis on "green" and the rapid move to EV, this is truly the blast-off point IMO.

No, I still don't understand some of the fundamentals of the market, but being in the automotive industry, the growth of lithium need just in that sector feels to be exponential with no end in sight.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Because they can produce more lithium at a higher flow rate than that used to extract bromine. Lanxess fricked up. It appears SLI is saying hasta la vista mf'ers, hence their tone in recent call. Tetra site will waaaaaay outproduce Lanxess sites as it will be only for lithium, not bromine-a rate limiting step. And guess what? You're pulling from the same resource. Lanxess WAS important because it would be the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way to get going. But those dumb fricks seem to have stalled too long. Mintak goes to Germany and ask are they in and eating prime rib or still undecided other than dining on donkey dick. Mintak got Koch and prime rib, poor Klaus gets to dine on rancid donkey dick.

Koch has the balls to leverage Lanxess. If Lanxess units developed, I'll guarantee you it'll be a 70/30 or 80/20 for SLI. Mintak says "I'm the captain now mf'ers." Tetra site offers everything the Lanxess site does without being limited by the bromine business. Plus it's a little closer to Austin.

While Lanxess was having meetings to plan meetings to meet and discuss the SLI deal. Mintak found a girl that would put out and had a rich powerful daddy that plays hardball and disappears people.

I'm wondering now if the big Lanxess get together wasn't by one or a few people that get it. Bring the Germans over, show it and try to convince them they are sitting on a lithium mine! I think they thought SLI was bluffing and the tone of the call now seems like they were telling them to piss off. Wrong you dipshits. You'll fall for Hitler's shite and murder 6 billion jews, but you can't recognize a once in a lifetime opportunity to become the world's biggest lithium dick? That's why you are overrun with muslim immigrants, your music, TV, movies etc are all shite. You have a female leader and are pro-vax. And to add insult onto injury, you just got shat upon by some Canadians.

Damn dude
