Yeah no shite...I fully admit I haven't done anything, I think people are assuming this will slowly dissipate and things will be back to normal but this feels different this time

It probably will to an extent
But this is how they make headway. Suddenly something like defunding the police, bizarre a month ago, will become a policy debate in 6 months that people aren't citing as bizarre. See: sanctuary cities, abolish ICE, etc.

Good luck with that firing... Tennessee is a right to work state and can pretty much fire you for whatever they want. Been there done that. Not worth hiring an attorney to fight it.
