The District Attorney says he was shocked that the incident led to an arrest to begin with. I mean the guy was driving fricking drunk.

He was paroled from COVID and was in jail for beating his children, among other things. Also already had a DUI.

One of my favorites the DA said about Brooks not being a threat: When the taser was fired at the officer the prongs went over the officers head.

Please tell me he did not say that. The dude didn't know he was asleep when the 2nd officer started questioning him. He said he wasn't sleeping and then looked confused when the cop said the other cop had to wake him up. Then he didn't even know he was in Atlanta. He was saying he was in some other city. He was either drunk or really high. Neither is good when driving.
