Are they just so much smarter or could it be....?

Could it be that they are taking classes during the summer, and finishing early? You can easily knock off a year if you spend 3 summers taking classes.

Between summer school and intersessions, there's a lot of classes you can move up

Not to mention that a lot of students come out of high school now already having earned some college credit. Hell, my goddaughter had nearly 3 semesters worth when she graduated high school.

I could definitely see Miles as someone who went to a school and had the ability to earn some college credit.

To keep my kids in HS busy and out of trouble I had them take summer classes. One of my sons went back his senior year to debate And another to play sports. The two girls went to the first half of their senior year, but I put them in a local judo to get used to the difference in the atmosphere of the class rooms and people in colleges, while they still at home they were both August babies and were relatively young to even start first grade.

But all of them could have graduated after their junior year.

So why couldn't all the countless athletes of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and even 2000's not accomplish this?? Those guys had the same opportunities as today's athletes, except the online option, which of course allows for God-knows-who to do the work for you. Wise up.
