I agree it could have been handled better, but at the same time, this is a pretty good way to force himself out of NY. Also, I couldn't care less about the Jets, and if Gase is really that bad, no one will mind what Jamal said when he's fired in the next couple years.

I disagree. Every time he opens his mouth like this, he lowers his trade value, whether it be teams who don’t want to deal with an apparent malcontent or teams that think the Jets have no choice but to trade him. Nothing good is coming from him doing this, and if it were a non-LSU player, you all would be dogging him and say if he’s got a problem with Gase, he should talk to him man to man.
