politics is God to some of these schhools. Some of these universities will sacrifice money, health and reputation if it's a sacrifice made in the name of politics.

Definitely all about the money. They're simply balancing the loss of revenue this season on one end versus the potential liability/legal expenses/future lost revenue on the other end if something freak happened and a player contracted the virus and died. "Player safety" is a consideration, but only from the standpoint of liability.

If it was all about the money, they would all be playing now and filling the stadiums with anyone willing to attend the game ... your logic is horribly flawed.

However, the point of making kids play 2 seasons, even if abbreviated in the Spring is valid.

If allowed to push football into spring sports, how does that affect the other traditional spring sports?

But, if they do any sort of cost/benefit analysis, then they are REALLY F*CKED if they decide to play.

A player's heath? Great energy boost before gametime.

The SEC and ACC telling the Big 10 to shove it basically ruins any chance of playing in the spring. You can’t do that unless all conferences are in agreement to play in the spring which was never going to happen

IF they play in the spring, fall season might very well start late. Looking at the bright side, might be nice to get early-season home games in cooler weather...

What about the players that want to play.

Do they matter?

Why make them play 24 games in 8 months. Why if it’s about long lasting heath then why play with CTE concerns. I know this is rambling

My man, you are rambling in just 2 short sentences? lol

Yes, it’s all about the money. That’s why the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 are pushing forward.
