I do not oppose early term abortion. Most of that 600k is early term. The number does not bother me in the slightest.

I might oppose taxpayer funding, if that were occurring ... but of course it is not. On the other hand, I would rather spend a few hundred taxpayer dollars on an abortion than tens of thousands over 18 years raising a kid. Pure numbers.

By the way, you’re always dead wrong. Don’t even mention the Hyde Amendment either, because it has to be reauthorized every year and gets all sorts of amendments that still allow federal taxpayers to fund abortions through Medicaid and planned parenthood. Then, you can look at the state-level as well where state taxes are used for low-income abortions.

No, I do not footnote my every statement, as if I were filing a SCOTUS brief. Everyone knows that federal law prohibits federal funding of abortion. The deluded SoCons have simply convinced themselves that it is happening anyway, Sad, really.

I readily admit that I was referencing federal spending. some states do fund abortion. I do not care. In most cases, it is money well-spent. People who seek government funding for an abortion are likely to seek government funding to raise a child as well. Early term abortion is far more cost effective.
