re: Anyone swim in outdoor heated pools during the winter?

I did until about 3 years ago when SMU built a natatorium and retired the outdoor pool. If you are swimming a good workout then your body heat keeps you warm for a few minutes when you get out. I did a swim when the outdoor temp was in the teens and that was cold when I got out. My coach is from Wisconsin and says he spent his youth swimming outdoors in sub zero cold. Get a swim parka you can through on immediately and it's not bad.
