The reality is that confidence had been lost in Coach Pelini. I think the team's strong finish hurt Coach Pelini. With the freshmen playing well, LSU felt it couldn't risk another season with Coach Pelini.
Also, O is really good at deflecting blame from himself.

not sure of what you are talking about. every time he was interviewed after a loss he said that he needs to do a better job of coaching. he took the blame.
