Doesn't LSU have some shadow offensive guru's on staff? I think the younger minds would work better!

Coach O was given the ultimatum. Change or you go. LSU is not going to let this go the way of Ole Miss and Coach O's other assignments. He either has to excel or he is gone.

E as a position coach is a home run

He can recruit and all the QBs love him
I think they were scared to mess with the brady footprint.
They needed someone to come in and meege with that offense

I have posted this before, but now the moment is closer - Ensminger is still part of the program, but likely on the way to retirement in a couple of years.

Flash back to October 1, 1977 - my first college football game, in Tiger Stadium and Coach Mac was using 2 QBs, David Woodley (more of a running threat) and Steve Ensminger (more of a passer). I remember watching the players warm up, particularly the QBs (Woodley #8, Ensminger #5).

Flash forward to the last game I watched live and, lo and behold, Steven Ensminger was warming up the QBs prior to the game. As the Ensminger chapter closes, maybe it is more significant to me than someone who did not share those experiences.

To Steve Ensminger, a great Tiger who will always have 2019 as the pinnacle of his coaching career -

I think that's why Ensminger is hanging around. When you've won a national championship it's always good to keep 1-2 guys around that have been there. They know how to get it done! Now let's get the best of the best out there to coach our offense AND defense. Let the games begin!

The offense averaged 15 points per game against Bama, A&M, Auburn and Arkansas.
you are a fan sitting in a recliner in your living room critiquing a coach with years of experience.

from week to week this coach has to plan for a game with young men who are quitting mid season, dealing with issues that have nothing to do with football, player injuries, freshman QB's that are still learning the playbook and dealing with veteran players that quit mid season etc...

you don't know jack squat and neither do i. i am a frustrated Tiger fan as much as many on here are.

but here we are with somewhat of a positive note. beating UF and Ol Piss with majority freshman players makes me love these Fighting Tigers who dressed out and played before an all but empty stadium.

Geaux Tigers and pray that Coach O will build this team to be back in the hunt for the SEC west.

Very happy he was retained — he didn’t even want to be offensive coordinator but O kept begging him.
