Personally speaking, I've always had bad luck with humidors that have display glass. Even with boveda packs, always tough. Also, I see your current humidor has a built in analog hygrometer....that thing is essentially worthless. Looks like your new one has a built-in digital, which is better, but make sure you calibrate it instead of over-humidifying your humidor giving you a bunch of wet, mold infested cigars.

This is my first humidor, so I didn’t go with anything too expensive. I’d rather screw up a cheap one first and learn from it than to do so on an investment.

This did come with a digital hydrometer. I’m not even attempting the replacement one I bought. It’s smaller and has a weird setup inside that I don’t like. I’m returning it since this original one seems to be working now. The Amazon link does show analog, but I bought the one with digital. It’s sold out now which is why it’s not showing in that link.

Once I get a greater understanding of it all I will then invest in a good one. It’s going on my birthday list
